Sometimes, love is never what you think it is.
Renata Lorrie knew her life would never be the same from the moment she became a vampire. Her hunger and insatiable desires have led her down paths she never knew were possible. Unbeknownst to her, she’s captured the attention of Demetrius Lasko, a wealthy and quite powerful vampire intent on making her his own.
Succumbing to her own desires, Renata places her trust in Demetrius’ hands. When her best friend becomes an unexpected target, she promises to keep Jackie safe at all cost. With Demetrius by her side, doing so won’t be much of a problem.
Renata’s life takes an unexpected turn when her love for Jackie becomes something she never expected. As if that’s not enough, she also has to contend with Demetrius. Though he’s not one to share what he deems to be his, he’s made the exception for Jackie, something for which Renata is grateful.
Exploring the darker side of their love, the three embark on a journey that will forever change the world around them. When love and passion collide, anything is possible, a certainty they’re learning every step of the way.
The soft sweet voice penetrated the fog in which I found myself in. I stirred and reached out to curl a hand around my lover’s cheek, aching for his kiss. He indulged me and claimed my mouth as if it were a precious treasure that needed to be plundered. A moan escaped me as he let go of my lips and moved downward, his fangs scraping softly across my heated flesh.
I craved his touch. To have him fill me with every inch of his desire. I’d never felt this way before, and wanted to hold on to the moment. To keep this man so close to my heart.
My back arched as he trailed hot wet kisses down my navel, his tongue flicking softly across my belly button. He chuckled and blew his breath across my skin. Goosebumps erupted all over my body, heightening the state of my arousal. I wasn’t sure how much more of this I could take.
I growled with impatience, refusing to listen to the urgent tone of the voice calling out my name. My body craved release, and I would have it. Reaching up again to pull my lover’s head down, I kissed him with every ounce of my being. We rolled across the bed, lost in the moment, our limbs tangled around each others.
